When Mint My Property mints your property address as an NFT, it needs to be sent somewhere. Your wallet address is the destination.
You Own Your Assets
Unlike a bank account, a self-custody wallet means only you control your assets. No company can freeze or seize your NFT.
Proof of Ownership
Your wallet address is your on-chain identity. Holding the NFT in your wallet is cryptographic proof that you are the registered minter.

Step-by-Step Guide
Setting Up Coinbase Wallet in 5 Minutes
Download Coinbase Wallet
Visit the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for 'Coinbase Wallet'. Download and install the free app. Note: Coinbase Wallet is different from the main Coinbase app.
Create Your Wallet
Open the app and tap 'Create a new wallet'. You'll be asked to create a username. This is your on-chain identity — choose something you'll remember.
Secure Your Recovery Phrase
You'll be shown a 12-word recovery phrase. Write this down on paper and store it somewhere safe — never digitally. This phrase is the master key to your wallet. Anyone who has it can access your funds.
Enable Base Network
Coinbase Wallet supports the Base network by default. When Mint My Property transfers your property NFT, it will appear automatically in your wallet under 'NFTs' or 'Collectibles'.
Share Your Wallet Address
Your wallet address is a string of letters and numbers that starts with '0x'. When you place your order with Mint My Property, provide this address so we know where to send your minted property NFT.
Important: Protect Your Recovery Phrase
Your 12-word recovery phrase (also called a seed phrase) is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access to your device. Never share it with anyone — including Mint My Property. Write it down on paper and store it in a safe place. Anyone who has your seed phrase has full control of your wallet and all assets inside it.
Mobile vs. Desktop Wallets
For most users, a mobile wallet (app on your phone) is the simplest option. If you prefer to manage your assets from a computer, both Coinbase Wallet and MetaMask offer browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Either option works perfectly for receiving your minted property NFT from Mint My Property.
